Town clean up

It's time for some spring cleaning, neighbors! Let's come together to refresh our community and keep it beautiful. Gather up those unwanted items, old junk, or clutter taking up space, and bring it all to A & W Sanitation on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 8 am to noon (or until allotted dumpsters are full) for proper disposal.

This is the perfect chance to declutter your homes, remove trash and debris from around your yards, and make our neighborhood shine. Together, we can create a cleaner, greener environment we can all be proud of!

Mark your calendars, spread the word, and let's make it a team effort. #SpringCleaning #CommunityMatters #keepitclean

Who's ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference?

This event is free and for ANSTED RESIDENTS ONLY! Must show proof of residency!

Town of Ansted Comprehensive Plan

The Town of Ansted will use the comprehensive plan as a long‐range blueprint to guide growth over the next ten years. The plan determines the overall vision of the community and sets a realistic action plan. The town is required to review the comprehensive plan during re-zoning requests to ensure the change in zoning classification is consistent with the comprehensive plan. The comprehensive plan should also be used to show community support when applying for federal, state, and non-profit grants. A comprehensive plan prepares a community for the future and helps establish short- and long-term financial priorities. This is especially important for communities like Ansted that have a limited budget. Town council should use this plan when completing the yearly budget and during decisions regarding capital improvement projects.
